This beautiful child sat for me for one sitting in 2005 and the balance of the piece was completed in 2011 from photo's taken at that sitting and from minds eye. The cousin of Aliina, both girls were dance students at their Grandmothers Dance Studio located in Independence, MO. I thank them for their patience and participation in helping me create their pieces. This is another piece from "The Chair in the Window" series at the Joyfeli gallery in Kansas City, MO. In return for modeling her family received a giclee of the piece; 2 were made in the same size.
The second embellished giclee is still available for $250. I recently took a new look at this piece and made a few adjustment, minor but necessary changes, as a up dated piece it is ready for exhibit at competitions or art shows.
